A Catalyst for Economic Revitalization

Bringing Community Together to Strengthen Downtown Gold Beach

What Is Gold Beach Main Street ?

Gold Beach Main Street is an affiliate member of Main Street America and Oregon Main Street. We are part of a collaborative movement with partners and grassroots leaders who advance shared prosperity, create resilient economies, and improve quality of life through place-based economic development and community preservation in downtowns and neighborhood commercial districts across the country.

Our Mission

Boosting Vitality
and Growth

Reinvigorating our town's look and feel by driving economic development and prosperity

Who We Are

Gold Beach is more than a place, it’s where neighbors meet, businesses grow, and community pride takes shape. We take pride in our small, coastal, Oregon town and are dedicated to seeing it thrive.

Gold Beach Main Street exists to strengthen connections by supporting local businesses, hosting events that bring people together, and helping our community imagine what’s possible for our downtown.

We focus on creating opportunities for involvement, celebrating local effort, and building a future that honors both our history and our potential.

Upcoming Event

City Council / Planning Commission Presentation

On February 3, Kittelson & Associates will present the survey findings at a City Hall meeting, alongside Gold Beach Main Street’s summary of community feedback and questions gathered through our Town Hall and outreach efforts. This is a critical moment in the process — where community voices help inform next steps.

We respectfully ask community members to attend the 6 pm, February 3 City Hall meeting in person if possible. A strong turnout helps demonstrate how much this corridor matters to Gold Beach. Our hope is to see the council chambers just as full as our recent Town Hall — because when our community shows up, our voices carry farther.

Together, we keep building a Main Street shaped by informed, engaged, and thoughtful community participation.

Projects

We aren’t just the “plant ladies!” But our 23 mini-parks with 30 benches, 122 trees plus flowers along main street are probably our most consistently visible work. And we can’t wait to keep improving our town!

Gold Beach Main Street supports a wide range of projects that strengthen our downtown and bring people together—from community events and placemaking efforts to revitalization initiatives and public engagement. While GBMS does not fund large-scale infrastructure projects, we play an active role in supporting local momentum, amplifying community voice, and collaborating with partners to help move ideas forward. Each project reflects our commitment to economic vitality, local pride, and a vibrant Main Street.

About Us

Investments in our community pay for themselves many times over—strengthening access and personal mobility, enhancing safety and walkability, and fostering the social and economic vitality that makes our downtown a place where people want to gather, shop, and spend time. When we invest in Main Street, we’re investing in the long-term health, resilience, and shared success of Gold Beach.
